On 9th November we’re pleased to have Amy Stevenson guest speaking at our networking meeting.
Amy Stevenson has enjoyed a varied professional life. Starting her career as a radio presenter at 17, she was fascinated with how the business ran as a whole, from on-air content creation to marketing that content whilst remaining engaging for the consumer, combined with generating revenue and leading teams to live and breathe the brand as passionately as she did.
Move on 15 years and we see a new type of consumer, one that is intelligent, educated, informed and technological. Amy’s businesses have all had to adapt to these changing markets. Salon Confidential, a hair and beauty brand, changed the way female consumers purchase products in high street stores, but that wasn’t without its difficulties! Entering an unknown market, distribution is tricky so retailer relationships are key and customer service is paramount.
Her newest company, HorseHour, is only a year old and was literally born out of the twitter age. Still in the early stages, with no funding and support, HorseHour has become the online market leader in the Equestrian Industry. Amy will share her journey and how she believes each chapter has helped build the foundation for HorseHour, along with ‘this just has to work, there’s no other option!”
So if you’d like to come along to our meeting on the 9th Nobember, please get in touch to book in for breakfast!
