On 23rd November we’re pleased to have Susan Peyton guest speaking at our networking meeting.
Susan’s bio:
Susan Payton has been in business since the mid nineties. She provided flexible PA services to celebrities long before the term ‘VA’ ever existed. Her first client was TV & Radio presenter Chris Tarrant, who stayed a client for over 23 years!
Finding herself a single mum in 1999, when her daughter was just 6, Susan also started organising events and building a buy-to-let property portfolio.
But the strain of doing so much took its toll and in 2006 Susan was diagnosed with ME. Burnt out and barely able to walk up a flight of stairs, or cook supper for her daughter, Susan embarked on a new journey of self-care, which in 2009 saw her training as an NLP practitioner and Life Coach.
In 2015 she launched a website and online community for women in business, providing business support and resources for her 1300 members.
Engaging with the business community she had built, and coaching women who were starting their own business, led Susan to discover her true passion – helping people to tell their story! In a high-tech world where we are becoming more and more disconnected as humans, Susan uses storytelling to help passionate entrepreneurs and business owners connect powerfully with their target market.
Whether B2C or B2B “people buy from people” and Susan’s skills at helping her clients show up as their authentic self, and share a clear and compelling story, has helped business owners including coaches, consultants, charities, web designers and fashion brands to make sure they are speaking to the right people, with the right messaging and a great story!
*Susan is currently on a mission to get over a lifelong fear of public speaking! Embracing the “feel the fear and do it anyway” philosophy, she has joined Toastmasters and is actively seeking opportunities to talk to business owners about how important it is to tell their story*
So if you’d like to come along to our meeting on the 23rd Nobember, please get in touch to book in for breakfast!
